  • Cooperative actions. By complicating the game, you can add role-playing elements. In this case, the class should be divided into groups, added competition, given some of the players personal goals, made mutual assistance necessary in terms of mechanics, and complicate the system of interactions. The idea of ​​"Clean Games" was born on the islands of Lake Vuoksa. We were on a boat trip for several days, noticed a lot of trash on the islands, and one of our friends came up with the idea of ​​an RPG where trash could be a resource to be mined. Like gold in Warcraft. I liked the idea very much, we began to think how it can be done. We decided that the game should not be role-playing, but rather resemble a garbage collection competition for everyone who wants to. The winners should receive prizes. And most importantly, everything should be interesting. Players should not see garbage, but a resource to win. And so it all went. Two months later, we made the game, it turned out successfully.

Before "Clean Games" I had been doing live action role-playing games for 12 years. He took part in educational games - for example, he helped colleagues from the Noon project. This is a game project aimed at the social adaptation of children from orphanages and is a member of the Association "Games of the Future".

Educational games serve to gain new skills and rewarding experiences that are difficult to get hold of in other settings.

Schoolchildren remember information better in educational games, and not in ordinary lessons, because in the first case they gain knowledge when they solve their problem. - Oversaturation. When you, thinking over a quest, want to "stuff" as much as possible into it, the game may end up being drawn out and the children will get tired. Stick to the middle ground.

- Too difficult tasks. Of course, the quest involves overcoming difficulties and "brain boiling", but if you overdo it with the complexity of tasks, the students may simply become uninteresting.

Subject weeks held annually in schools have long and rightly been considered effective. extracurricular activities, capable of attracting the attention of students, motivating them to study a particular subject, forcing them to look differently at a seemingly familiar science.

When developing scripts for subject weeks, we adhere to several principles.

First, assignments are selected and compiled together with the students. This approach allows, on the one hand, to maximize the involvement of schoolchildren in the educational process, on the other hand, ensures continuity in learning: for example, high school students prepare exercises for more elementary grades and even conduct lessons with them.

Secondly, the proposed tasks must necessarily be related to the real language situation. So, in the classroom, it is far from always appropriate to analyze an advertising slogan or newspaper headline despite the fact that these speech genres are an integral part of the modern linguistic environment. On the contrary, the subject week, as a special form of work with students, provides a lot of opportunities for using these examples. As a rule, such non-standard language material attracts the attention of students, motivates them to study the subject, develops linguistic taste and, which is very important, correlates in their minds Russian as a school subject and Russian as a means of communication in real life.

Finally, a meta-subject approach should be used when thinking through the assignments for Philology Week. There can be many intersection points here: Russian language, literature, history, art, music (both classical and modern), cinema, journalism, advertising studies and even computer games.

So, in 2012–2013 academic year the subject Week of the Russian Language and Literature was structured as a five-day quest(from the English. quest- one of the main genres of computer games, which is an interactive story with a main character controlled by a player; the most important elements of the game are the actual storytelling and exploration of the world, and the key role in the gameplay is played by solving puzzles and tasks that require mental efforts from the player [Wikipedia]). "Game of portraits". Numbered portraits of writers and poets (both domestic and foreign) are hung around the school.

The task of the participants is to guess who is depicted in the portrait. Additional points are awarded to those who also indicated the works created by this author.

Note that at the end of the competition, it is important to attach the actual names of the authors to each portrait.

In addition to the main event within the framework of the subject Week, an exhibition of illustrations to art works “Children draw the classics”, “Writing lessons”, classes prepared by high school students for younger students, open lessons and master classes by teachers of Russian language and literature, thematic excursions were held.

The Week began with an evening of Russian romance and love lyrics, prepared jointly with music teachers, and the final event was a meeting of the Literature Club on the theme “Hogwarts: Reality or Utopia?”.

Of course, the organization of such a subject week is time consuming and implies the joint work of teachers of various disciplines. But as it shows Feedback, the students appreciated the activities carried out, especially noting the non-standard and versatility of the assignments:
