Churchill III - Naguib or Lie? TTX - Tactical and Technical Characteristics

Churchill III is a model of a heavy combat vehicle, which was jointly developed by designers and. In the number of several copies, this model was used in the Second World War. This tank is a representative of the premium class of combat units. Churchill III is not included in the main development branch and is issued to the player (upon purchase) in the top-end configuration. Is a level 5 representative.

Since this combat unit is premium, Churchill III's profitability is very high compared to similar models. Its profitability is 15,000-20,000 silver without using, 30,000-40,000 using a premium account, and if, it turns out, you play a great battle, then the profitability can reach and. Very good performance for level 5.

General information

Churchill III has quite good booking, which allows you to perfectly conduct an effective battle against enemy vehicles of a similar level. Equipped with a 57 mm gun with 110 mm penetration and 75 hp damage, Churchill III can excellently restrain several lower tier tanks. Despite such a small indicator of damage, the gun has a high rate of fire, which reaches 27 rounds per minute. This is just colossal values for 5 tank tiers, especially for TT.

Hello everyone and welcome to the site! Friends, today you have a real rarity in front of you World games of Tanks, a vehicle that has existed in tanks literally from the very beginning, we are talking about a Soviet heavy premium tank of the fifth tier. Churchill III guide.

Do not be embarrassed by the British origin of this heavy, it was supplied to the USSR under Lend-Lease and in our favorite game it belongs to the Soviet nation. This car is moderately interesting, moderately strong, but with good potential. To understand the whole point Churchill III World of Tanks, you need to get to know him better, understand the characteristics,
equipment, tactics.

TTX Churchill III

We will begin an overview of the parameters of this device with the fact that it boasts a good margin of safety for its level, and basic overview at 350 meters is also worthy of respect. However, the highlight is the fact that heavy tank Churchill III has a preferential level of battles, you will never have to fight with the seventh levels, the maximum is the sixth.

Our Soviet Briton has armor, but not everywhere and not always. For example, the frontal part of the body holds the impact well, especially if you slightly turn the body, Churchill III tank able to cheerfully tank classmates and even some 6th level vehicles. But getting into the orange windows and the yellow panel, even fours break through us.

The biggest problem with this weight is the tower. Here Churchill III characteristics booking is quite mediocre - 88 millimeters at right angles. That is, no matter how you place the hull, almost everyone will punch you into the tower.

With the sides, the situation is more interesting, because their thickness is 76 millimeters, and even with layers of different screens and additional armor plates. Churchill III World of Tanks is capable of rhombus very well, especially if you show only the side at a good angle because of the cover, you can even tank the sixth levels. But be careful, shooting us directly at the harp and punching it, the enemy will inflict damage.

But really weak side our heavy weight is long dimensions and mobility. Churchill III WoT got a small top speed, very modest, if not bad dynamics, as well as weak maneuverability. In other words, we eat slowly and reluctantly turn our long carcass.

Cannon

The armament of our Soviet heavyweight with British origin is special, however, there are some nuances here that everyone who wants to realize the potential of this device should know about.

Churchill III cannon has a very modest one-time damage, but just an incredible rate of fire, so without equipment and perks, we are able to inflict almost 2000 damage per minute, a very serious result for the TT-5.

With the penetration in our case, everything is in order, most of the opponents encountered in the random are sewn with ordinary BB, and for especially solid goals or a fun game heavy tank Churchill III WoT has very evil sub-calibers.

The nuance that requires attention relates to the accuracy parameters. We initially have a wide spread, poor stabilization and mediocre mixing. Moreover, at Churchill III World of Tanks so high rate of fire that the gun does not have time to reduce even when fully equipped with equipment and perks, this must be remembered.

And we also have not the best elevation angles at our disposal, the fact that the barrel bends down by 6 degrees does not interfere too much, but we always want more.

Advantages and disadvantages

To realize the full potential of a tank, you need to know what its strengths can be relied on and what is better not to do due to certain weaknesses. Churchill III WoT has a lot of advantages and disadvantages so that you don't get confused, we will highlight them separately.
Pros:
Good armor hull forehead and sides;
Solid margin of safety;
Very decent review;
High rate of fire and excellent DPM;
Good penetration parameters;
Preferential level of battles.
Minuses:
Weak defense of the tower;
Poor mobility;
Large dimensions (long tank);
Small alpha-strike;
Lack of accuracy;
Mediocre UVN.

Equipment for Churchill III

The choice of additional modules on this tank is not too great, but there are alternatives, so priorities need to be set clearly. However, for a comfortable game on this tank, not so much is needed and on Churchill III equipment it is worth putting the following:
1. - let's make our incredible rate of fire even more incredible, and the enemy will never thank you for a million holes in his tank.
2. - for us this is the most important module, since the range of information does not have time to narrow between shots, and the accuracy leaves much to be desired.
3. - we already have good overview, but to get an advantage over the enemy, it needs to be spurred on a little.

There is a good alternative for the last point -. As you yourself understand, with it the damage per minute will become even more frightening, the information is more comfortable, and there will be a small increase in the review, although not the same as from optics.

Crew training

Of course, it is necessary to pay due attention to the training of the crew and the rational distribution of skills, because in combination with equipment this aspect gives very good results and a way to influence your success in battle. In addition, this heavy has a crew of five, which makes it possible to swing tankers for other Soviet heavy vehicles. But enough words, on tank Churchill III perks download the following:
Commander -,,,.
Gunner -,,,.
Driver mechanic - , , , .
Radio operator -,,,.
Charger -,,,.

Equipment for Churchill III

When buying consumables, you can safely act according to the standards, so in the economy mode it is better to take, and feel free to go to earn silver. But when the silver has already been earned, it is better to bet on Churchill III outfit from,,, your vitality and self-confidence will increase significantly. By the way, it is quite possible to exchange a fire extinguisher for, but this will already hit the "wallet".

Churchill III tactics

We are holding a heavy tank with poor mobility, not the best accuracy, and a weakly armored turret. But Churchill III World of Tanks has a lot of other advantages, the main of which is a preferential level of battles, a fairly strong body and a cannon with a crazy rate of fire.

Thus, for Churchill III tactics the conduct of a battle consists of a clash on the front line. At close and medium distances, you will not feel lack of accuracy, and even in motion, you can almost continuously inflict damage to the target every 2 seconds.

Of course, you can't just shove forward, having reached an advantageous position, where you can hide from enemy art and become a diamond, showing only the side from behind cover at a good angle, Soviet heavy tank Churchill III can hold back the enemy for a long time. The main thing in this is not to show the tower, to do this, separate the enemy for a shot and while he is reloading, shoot him at CD.

Besides, Churchill III tank WoT feels bad if you let a more frisky enemy into your side. We can be easily twisted and then it is not always possible to cope without the help of allies. So when some daring LT or ST approaches, knock him down with a harp and hold it until he goes to the hangar.

The real element of our heavy are city maps, here you can feel like a fish in water. Just be careful, keep an eye on the mini-map and try to hide the tower, it's easy to break through. As for the open cards, here Churchill III World of Tanks more vulnerable, so it makes sense to take a position and stick to it, trying to implement damage at long distances. Or plot your route so that you have somewhere to hide.

Finally, I would like to answer the question - “ is it worth buying Churchill III? ". I think it's worth it, both for beginners and seasoned tankers. The car is worth attention to it, it is able to farm well, and even pull fights in skillful hands. But remember, this is a tank of one direction and if you are unsure of your allies, it is better not to move far from the base.

The Churchill 3 tank in world of tanks is a Soviet heavy tank with British roots. The cars were delivered to the Soviet Union under Lend-Lease, so in the game the "Briton" is in the USSR development branch, comfortably located on the 5th level. The car is quite peculiar, but in capable hands it is capable of revealing its considerable potential.

Invite Churchill 3

Everyone already knows about the joint cooperation between Rostelecom and Wargaming, where you can get in personal account, and the validity of invite codes is until December 23, 2019. It is very convenient if, of course, you are a subscriber of Rostelecom, or at least acquaintances have the opportunity to help you get an invite code for Churchill 3 2017. According to our information, as of April 2017, issuance of invite codes for Churchill 3 in the personal account of Rostelecom has been suspended, technical support is arguing for those, that they have issued all the invites they have. Yes, and we have them in a very limited number. If there is an opportunity to purchase, we recommend using the services of ours.

Churchill 3 guide

So let's get started. For its tier, the Churchill 3 heavy tank has a decent safety margin of 700 units... The tank's view radius is 350 meters, the indicator is very mediocre, but for heavy this is far from the main parameter. It should be noted that Churchill 3 has a preferential level of battles, so in the random game the tank will only meet with classmates and opponents of the 6th level. The menacing sevens do not threaten us. Churchill costs 3 1500 units of in-game gold.
Considering this feature, the armor of the "Briton" looks pretty decent, however, the tank cannot be called mega-protected. In particular, in the frontal projection of the body, one can observe 176 mm armor, therefore, when set with a diamond, the heavy can confidently tank against classmates and even some representatives of the 6th level. However, weakly armored hatches and VLDs are located here, which can be easily penetrated even by fours. The sides are protected 76 mm armor plates and reinforced with screens. Therefore, with the correct turn of the hull, the "Briton" can confidently tank sideways against the sixes. However, you should not get carried away with this, experienced players punch the "Churchill" 3 delivered by a diamond through the rink.
With the reservation of the tower, things are deplorable: in total 88 mm armor located at right angles. Accordingly, everyone who is not lazy will punch through the heavy tower, while not even bothering to target vulnerable zones.
The "Briton" cannot boast of dynamics either. The rather long 40-tonne carcass can hardly be accelerated to 28 km / h, chassis swing speed 23.7 deg / s... Therefore, the nimble and maneuverable to call "Churchill" 3 does not turn his tongue.
In terms of armament, the car looks impressive and defiant. Churchill 3 cannon has a rather modest alpha ( 56 damage units for BB), but incredible rate of fire. As a result, the “Briton's” DPM varies within 2,000 units, which is quite good even for high-level vehicles. The armor penetration also looks good: the 57-millimeter gun confidently penetrates 110 mm armor with an armor-piercing projectile. This is enough to confidently distribute damage to classmates and sixes.
However, the advantages of the Churchill 3 WoT weapons end there. The gun has a wide spread, mediocre accuracy and poor stabilization. In addition, the player's dissatisfaction is caused by the speed of aiming: the rate of fire of the cannon does not allow to be reduced to the end, even with installed modules and pumped up perks.

Churchill 3 perks and equipment

Heavy tank "Churchill" 3, whose crew consists of 5 people, will provide the pumping of tankers of almost the entire branch of Soviet TT. Considering that the car is premium, you can train and transfer the crew without fines. Given this peculiarity, players usually do not pump out the crew specifically for Churchill 3, preferring to roll a mixed hodgepodge on it from different tanks. However, if anyone is concerned about this issue, we advise you to consider this option:

The selection of perks is focused on dynamic play, from review and DPM. Therefore, the choice looks quite reasonable: we shoot on the move, highlight from the bushes, and quickly repair modules damaged by the enemy.
What equipment should be installed on Churchill? In principle, the tank is quite comfortable to play, even in the basic configuration. However, in order to fully reveal its potential, we advise you to stay on this choice:

How to play Churchill 3

How to play Churchill 3? There is no unambiguously proven tactics here, much depends on the decision of the balancer and, accordingly, the location of the tank in the team's list. Therefore, there are two types of combat tactics on this desperate "Briton". Let's consider both.

Hit the top:
We choose in advance the direction that we will confidently and methodically push through. Taking into account the dynamics of the vehicle, it will no longer be possible to change the attack vector, so we are moving towards the enemy's heavy tanks. The armor penetration indicators are enough to stuff any oncoming tank with lead.
Situation familiar to many: turbo drain. While the heavy crawled to the desired position, the more nimble allies had already gone to the hangar. Don't despair. We save ourselves from the art and begin to implement the terrifying DPM, minus the barrels and, first of all, shooting off potentially dangerous opponents.
Passive light. The installed optics, coupled with the "Combat Brotherhood" skill, provides us with as much as 415 meters of vision. Therefore, you can quite confidently shine through the greenery, earning nice bonuses for the damage inflicted by allies.

Thrown to the sixth levels:
Here, it makes sense to enter into an open confrontation with high-level heavy forces, if at least one allied tank of the 6th level has chosen this direction for the attack. In this case, the role of a support tank is suitable for "Churchill" 3: we use the rate of fire and keep the enemy on the ghusl while the teammates deal with the foe. Do not forget to send shot enemies to the hangar.
You can push through a secondary direction where there are no heavily armored enemies. Thanks to the high rate of fire, we will be able to confidently deal with light and medium tanks, the main thing is not to be twisted.
Protection. You can keep the direction from advancing enemies. However, you shouldn't try to damage well-defended targets. It will be much more effective to shoot down the tracks of opponents, simultaneously highlighting them for allied artillery and anti-tank units.
Passive light. If the enemy fireflies have already gone to the hangar, you can try to highlight a convenient direction from the bushes. For such a tactic, it is imperative to have a deflated Sixth Sense perk: if you catch a light bulb, we immediately change our position. Considering the armor of the "Briton", a direct hit of the enemy's art is guaranteed to send us to the hangar.
In general, it is necessary to respond in a timely manner to the changing environment and take reciprocal steps. "Churchill" 3 feels confident on city maps, but it can be used in open areas as well.

Tier V Ugly Ducklings: Churchill III

Greetings, dear tankers and tankers! While an experiment called "The First Campaign" is in full swing on the Global Map, and live broadcasts from the WG League are on the official website, it has arrived in time for you new review premium vehicles of the fifth level.

The “ugly ducklings” parade continues, and for the third article I chose a tank that also has the number “3” in its name. This tank is the most striking example of the "ugly duckling". How many humiliations and persecutions he was not subjected to for his game story... And in reality, this car also got from the man himself, after whom it was named. Okay, what am I playing with riddles if the name of the tank is written in the title? Our today's hero is the Churchill III heavy tank.

Tank late for both wars
The history of the Churchill tank begins in 1939. It was assumed that the coming war would be trench, and the future "Churchill" was equipped with thick frontal armor and emphasized the passage of the tank through ditches and embankments.

At first, the prototype did not have a turret, and the armament was planned to be installed in sponsons. But soon this idea was abandoned, and the tower was installed in the middle of the hull. The tank went into serial production in 1941 under the name of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
We will not consider in detail the use of the tank by Great Britain. There are a lot of Churchills in World of Tanks, so I would like to save historical facts for pumped tanks from the British development branch.

I can only say that it is not without reason that I gave the historical information the subtitle "Tank late for both wars." Its creation took place under the influence of the experience of the First World War, which was distinguished by its positional character. During the First World War, the front line could remain unchanged for months, and hostilities were often limited to continuous shelling of enemy positions. It was for such conditions that Churchill was being prepared. He had to accompany the attacking infantry, stay under fire for a long time and overcome trenches and embankments (hence the bizarre shape of the tank's undercarriage). Such a tank was really needed on the fronts of the First World War. But he was very late for her.
Contrary to the expectations of a new positional meat grinder, World War II turned out to be a war of maneuver and speed, and the "face" of successful tank forces was shown by the Germans during the capture of France. The Second World War demanded swiftness and precision of strike from the tank, and Churchill did not meet these requirements in any way. So it turned out that the tank was late for both wars.

Now let's turn to the history of the British tank on Eastern Front... Like the Matilda, the Churchill tank was part of the Lend-Lease supply for the USSR. In total, 344 units "sailed away" to the Union, but only 253 tanks were able to "sail".
On the Eastern Front, Churchill faced a typical foreign tank problem on Russian soil: nature. The tank had weak heaters, which had to be replaced with domestic ones. There were reports that the tracks fell off just while driving. The rollers were breaking. The driver, who had already seen little in any other tank, in the Churchill had an even more limited view due to the protruding tracks. But the main problem for Soviet tankers was the tank's cross-country ability: it did not cope well with wooded and swampy terrain.

Churchill was used in Stalingrad battle, in the battle for Kiev in 1943, on the Leningrad front and on the Kursk Bulge. It is noted that the Churchillies suffered huge losses in the battles. The use of these tanks ended at the end of 1944.
Well, at the end of the historical background, I cannot but quote from Wikipedia about the attitude of Winston Churchill himself to the tank named after him: "The tank that bears my name has more flaws than myself!"

Sir Winston "Churchill" in virtual conditions
In World of Tanks, the premium Churchill is a modification of a tank with a six-pound gun called the QF 6-pdr Mk. V. The game history of this tank is almost richer than the real story. To begin with, Churchill III is, if I'm not mistaken, the first premium heavy tank in the game.

Well, then - right "Game of Thrones". Here love, hatred, envy, greed and nobility are mixed. Jokes as a joke, but many remember the days when at the beginning of the battle the allies shouted something like "Churchill is to defeat!" and they themselves shot the poor fellow at the base.
Then "Churchill III" was constantly scolded for weak performance characteristics. We will turn to them.
SCREEN TTX
What is always better retained in memory? That's right - disadvantages! Churchill III has plenty of them. Let's start with the explicit ones:

  • Low speed, sluggishness. Churchill III doesn't like to drive. And he doesn't like to turn either. The situation can be a little rescued by the skills of the mechanic driver "King of the off-road" and "Virtuoso".
  • Low alpha. The cannon's average damage is only 75 units.
  • Very long body. Getting into the Church is not an easy task, but a very simple one.
  • The location of the tower. The tower is located in the center of the building. Swing-style city skirmishes are deadly for Churchill. You can easily be put on the harp, and at the same time you will not be able to shoot at the enemy. This also includes the terrible elevation angles. Shooting from a slope on this tank is not a pleasant thing.
In addition to these obvious shortcomings, there are also those that are not noticeable at first glance. For example, the performance characteristics do not indicate that the Churchill has unforgivably thin horizontal armor with its large area. I'll say for myself: I'm not an ardent hater of artillery, but when I play Churchill III, I swear at art like a shoemaker. Due to its slowness, this tank is already loved by enemy artillerymen, and because of the thin roof, full damage often flies into the car with all the accompanying crew and module crits.

Another drawback also applies to armor. When buying a tank, the number 176mm is fascinating, which means the thickness of the front plate. But the performance characteristics do not say that such a thickness of armor is only in a small rectangle where the machine gun is located. In other places, the booking is much thinner. And the tilt angles complement the picture, but there are almost none. The armor is positioned vertically and is therefore easily penetrated.

Thus, the armor can protect the Churchill III from every "trifle", but against another heavy tank of the 5th level in terms of armor it does not particularly compete.
But it is not all that bad! Sir Winston "Churchill" has a couple of aces up his sleeve.

  • The tool. The rate of fire of the gun is off scale. With a rammer and improved ventilation, my Churchill recharges in 1.93 seconds. Thus, you can create a real barrage of fire, which is especially effective against medium and light tanks.
  • Penetration. The gun has a 110mm armor-piercing projectile and a 180mm APCR shell. The armor-piercing round is sufficient against most targets. The main problem for us is the KV-1, which is easier to penetrate in the forehead than in the side, where the damage is absorbed by "magic caterpillars".
  • Stabilization. "Churchill" shoots well on the move. Especially useful when dealing with medium tanks. Moving, we live longer under the art, but at the same time we destroy enemy equipment.
  • Strength. The Churchill has a slightly increased supply. The tank has 700 HP, and they often save the day.
  • Large supply of shells. Personally, I, without regret, shoot at the enemy at any opportunity. There are enough shells "headlong". In total, you can take 140 pieces with you.
Slightly spoils the impression of the gun by its aiming speed - 2.3 seconds. For other tanks this would be acceptable, but the Churchill reloads earlier than the aiming down. Taking into account the already low accuracy (0.43m), even at an average distance there is a risk that some of the shells will go “into milk” or into impenetrable areas of the enemy's armor.

Let's go into battle
The first thing to remember in battle on the Churchill: artillery. In our battles, it will most often consist of SU-5 and SU-26, and this is a big nuisance. The steep trajectory of the projectiles of this art makes many "nychki" unsafe, and our roof, as I said, is thin and delicate.

If you hit the top, then you can work on pushing the direction. In this case, you need to use your rate of fire. Here is my set of equipment for maximum tank efficiency.

The rammer will increase the rate of fire. Improved ventilation will give an increase in all tank stats. Well, the enhanced aiming drives on the Churchill are simply necessary to keep up with their rate of fire.
From my experience, I would recommend avoiding head-on firefights with other heavy tanks. Although Churchill has an excellent rate of fire, without full information it often does not penetrate the enemy, and most likely the duel will end in your defeat.
My favorite destinations are those where enemy medium tanks are expected. Their armor is much easier for Churchill to cope with, and a wave of ST-shek can crash against this heavy tank.
I highly recommend playing with a platoon on two or even three Churchills. They create such continuous fire that enemies often miss simply due to the fact that shells are constantly flying at them, and the scope gets lost.
The main thing that can spoil your pleasure is getting into the battle with the Church, where there are many tanks of the 6th level. Still, he is not quite suitable for such fights. The collision with the KV-1S ends especially sadly, which removes more than half of the tank's HP in 1 shot.
As for the crew, it should be noted that the Churchill can accommodate a crew with an IS-4 plus a radio operator. My radio operator is a veteran with a KV-5, and the entire crew looks like this:

If you have your own crew, then the first thing I would recommend is to study with him " The Brotherhood of War"And" Repair ". I did not notice much benefit from the "Sixth Sense" on this particular tank. If you go to an open place, you will still get from the art, whether you have a "light bulb" or not. Mechvod to the detriment of "repair" can be studied "Virtuoso" or "King of the off-road" - to your taste.

Money is money, rubbish
The cost of "Churchill" is 1500 gold coins. The tank is often at discounts of up to 50%.
And here is a traditional screenshot with the economic indicators of the tank.

The series of fights turned out to be very unsuccessful. A couple of "turbo drains", one compensation for the teamkill (sinful, but the killed ally did not specifically allow me to pass). But at the end of the series, when I thoroughly remembered the tank's capabilities, better results appeared. As you can see, on average, we managed to bring in 15,000 credits per battle. However, with a lot of luck, this bar will rise to 20-25,000.

In conclusion, I will say that, despite a mountain of flaws, Churchill III fights well thanks to its rapid-fire weapon and good stabilization on the move. This tank combines very well with the cunning and sophisticated mind of the owner. It is in this form that the car turns from a "dull box" into a "bending stick".
That's all for me. I wish you short rains, an even tan, and if you are still at work, then a quick vacation!

Churchill 3 or "Budget Earning Credits".
Greetings, newcomers to the World Of Tanks game! Surely you often wondered what is the best way to earn silver in tanks? What is the best tank to buy for this purpose? Of course, many will advise you to put huge amounts of money real money, in order to buy a premium tier 8 tank and immediately start and play on a high tier tank, and earn silver. But there are many nuances here. Not everyone can afford to invest a large amount for the sake of a virtual tank, and not everyone will be able to play well on it right away. That is why I wrote this article. The solution to earning loans for a very small amount of money can be found below.
So, meet the tank on which you will earn good silver, the tank on which you will have fun, interesting and decisive battles, the tank that will become your favorite in the hangar

Churchill 3. Soviet Tier 5 premium heavy tank.

What is this steel monster? How much does it cost? How much does he earn? What are its "chips"? All these and other questions can be found here.
Price
Tank "Churchill 3" in the game store costs 1,500 gold coins, which is about 200 rubles. For some it is not enough, for some it is a lot. But in general, 200 rubles is 2-3 days to save on lunches or cups of coffee (depending on who can save on what). Also, considering that premium tanks of the 8th level cost around 1,500 rubles (!), Then in comparison with them, 200 rubles is nonsense.
Common features
Tank "Churchill 3" is a heavy soviet tank 5 levels. You can see all the characteristics either on the official website or in the game itself, I will not go deep into numbers, they are boring and hardly carry anything interesting. I will only say that according to general characteristics Churchill is a typical heavy tank. It is quite long, but at the same time low, which makes it more invisible than other heavy tanks of 5th level, and also more difficult to hit. The safety margin (hp) is one of the largest at level 5, as much as 700 units, which makes it quite tenacious. In addition, the tank does not hit like all Tier 5 tanks. He only gets into the 5th and 6th battle level. That is, we will never see level 7 on it (unless, of course, we play in a platoon with tanks that reach 7). But all his "tricks" are not in this.
Reservation
The tank's armor is rather strange. In numbers, we see as much as 176mm of armor in the forehead, but this is not so, 176mm of armor only in a small bar (around the machine gun). In fact, in the forehead of the hull there is armor from 88mm (top bar) to 114mm (lowest part of the forehead). Yes, not enough, but at least something. In the forehead of the tower, there is almost no armor, only 88mm. But this is not the essence of the tank. The armor of the sides at the same time is as much as 76mm, the numbers are small, but these are the sides! Few tanks can boast of such numbers for board armor. It is the armor of the sides that allows us to catch enemy shells when turning the hull to the right or left.
Dynamics
The dynamics of the tank are rather mediocre. The tank is slow, but not slower than the same KV-1. The speed of 28 km / h is gaining briskly and keeping it stable. "So what are its main advantages" - you ask? And the main advantages are in the tool.
Cannon
Churchill has one of the most interesting weapons in terms of play. Penetration of a 110mm cannon with a basic projectile, not a lot, but also not a little. Allows you to penetrate all tanks in the forehead, if you target the weak points of opponents. In the side and in the stern, it pierces even without aiming anything. The accuracy is also average, just like the mixing - they do not stand out much from their premium classmates. Our damage is the lowest at the level, only 75 units ... BUT! you will just behold the rate of fire of this "miracle machine gun" - it is 26.25 rounds per minute! With the Rammer equipment, Churchill sends projectiles at the enemy every 2 seconds (!), It's just amazing. In addition, we have 140 shells that cost a penny, so you can just go and spray enemies with shells.
Profitability
Churchill is a premium tank, which means that its profitability is higher than that of regular tier 5 tanks. Without a premium account, with average combat performance, the tank will earn from 15 to 35 thousand silver (already taking into account shells, repairs, etc.). Per good fights the tank brings quite a lot - from 30 thousand and more. A battle for which you bring 30-40 thousand is not uncommon. You just need to use its main advantages correctly, and at the same time level out your disadvantages.
"Chips"
The main features of this tank, that is, its "chips", its originality:

  • Brings a lot of silver per battle
  • Allows you to upgrade the crew of any Soviet heavy tank without retraining
  • The tank only gets to levels 3, 4, 5 and 6 (we don't see level 7 in battles)
  • Excellent super-rapid-fire cannon
  • Decent hull armor (turn the hull to the sides)
  • A tank for both earning and fun
Should I take it?
My opinion is definitely yes! It is not expensive, especially since during some promotions the cost of the tank drops exactly by half, that is, for only 100 rubles you can buy it. The tank is very interesting and profitable.
