Complex 2K5 "Korshun", rocket 3R7

Tactical missile. The design of a liquid-propellant tactical missile for salvo firing began in 1952 by OKB-3 NII-88 (Podlipki, Moscow Region), chief designer D.D. Sevruk. In 1953, the work on the topic received an official status - on September 19, the USSR Council of Ministers issued Decree No. 2469-1022 on the development of the Korshun reactive system. Complex 2K5 "Korshun" with liquid unguided missiles 3P7 was intended, first of all, to create corridors in enemy defense for advancing tanks. It was supposed to fire from mobile vehicle installations simultaneously with 2, 3 divisions at a distance of up to 55 km.

Missile tests were carried out starting in July 1954 from the launch stand. Preparation for serial production at the Izhmash plant (Izhevsk) began in 1956. Serial production of the complex began in 1957. The complex was in trial operation in the USSR Armed Forces. The rocket had low accuracy and high accident rate at negative air temperatures (it exploded, Grinberg V.N.).

The machines of the complex have repeatedly participated in the Parades on Red Square in Moscow since 1957. Production was discontinued after the manufacture of a small batch of complexes according to the Resolutions of the Council of Ministers of the USSR No. 2399-rs dated 26.08.1959 and No. 135-48 dated 05.02.1960.

Special thanks to the user "dimon-13" for help in summarizing the data on the Korshun missiles.

Rocket 3R7
Design- to reduce aerodynamic drag and ease of placement on a combat vehicle, the body of the 3P7 rocket was made in a high aspect ratio. To do this, it was necessary to move away from the scheme of previously developed anti-aircraft unguided missiles, in which the oxidizer tank concentrically covered the fuel tank. On the 3P7, the layout was carried out according to the traditional scheme with a sequential arrangement of tanks. The rocket used the previously proven liquid fuel displacement system, which simplified the design.

Structurally, the rocket consists of two parts - combat and rocket. Warhead located in front. At the junction of the parts there is a compartment (similar to the German ZNURS "Typhoon" and its Soviet modifications), filled with discs for adjusting the rocket to the desired weight. The rocket is brought to the required weight of ± 0.5 kg.

Rocket 3R7 complex "Korshun"

Control system and guidance- guidance is carried out by the artillery part of the launcher, the stabilization of the area is performed by rotation, which is set by the PU guides and is supported by aerodynamic stabilizers. The rocket did not go into mass production due to low accuracy and high dispersion.

Engine:
Initially, the 3P7 used a C3.25 liquid jet engine with TG-02 (Tonka) self-igniting fuel and nitric acid, but later, to reduce the cost of the rocket, they began to use the C3.25B engine, where the main fuel was TM-130 non-self-igniting fuel, and a small the amount of TG-02 fuel was used as a starting fuel.

Option 1 - S3.25 single-chamber rocket engine. Fuel supply is efficient. The tanks are located in series.
Fuel - triethylaminexylidine (TG-02, "Tonka")
Oxidizing agent - nitric acid

Effective gas outflow rate - 2035 m / s

Option 2 - S3.25B single-chamber rocket engine using TG-02 as starting fuel.
Fuel - kerosene mixture TM-130
Oxidizing agent - nitric acid

TTX missiles:

Length - 5535 mm

Caliber / Diameter - 250 mm

Stabilizing tail torque coefficient - 0.0273

Weight - 375 kg / 385 kg (according to various sources)

Warhead weight - 100 kg / 108 kg (according to various sources)

Fuel weight - 162 kg / 161.2 kg (according to various sources)

Operating range - 55 km

The length of the active section of the trajectory - 3.8 km

Maximum speed - 990 m / s / 1002 m / s (according to various sources)
Descent speed from the guides - 34 m / s
Range deviation - 1/100
Lateral deviation - 1/130
Rocket descent time from guides - 0.34 s

Engine running time - 7.8 s
Flight time at maximum range - 137 s

Warhead- high-explosive. The warhead has two fuses: head - mechanical, shock - non-safety type, and bottom - electromechanical. The warhead body is made of 40x steel and has a screw-in bottom. The TGAG-5 explosive is loaded from the bottom by the lump filling method.

BB type - TGAG-5
Explosive weight - 50 kg

Modifications:
- complex 2K5 "Korshun" with missile 3R7 - basic version, ballistic unguided tactical missile.

Meteorological variant - a variant of a rocket with a firing range of 80 km for use as a meteorological one.

ММР-05 / ММР-08 - meteorological rockets based on the 3R7 Korshun rocket.

Status- USSR - the complex was in service, but, most likely, it was in "trial operation" and was in the army in limited quantities.

1957 November 7 - combat vehicles with Korshun missiles were first shown at the Parade on Red Square in Moscow.

Here is the Kizlyar kite, there are thoughts on its acquisition on the nearest blade! I like the knife purely outwardly, I read that kizlyar is often scolded, what is your opinion specifically on the "bird" series of kizlyar =)

DenisP 08-10-2006 23:07

I have it in stock. I took it purely because of the appearance. At first I had to sharpen it for a long time, tk. factory sharpening was 60 degrees, no less. If he had a guard, it would be great. The handle seemed heavy. And so nothing, a normal knife.
If you like it, take it.

Freezer 10-10-2006 01:23

And there will be opinions ???

asi 10-10-2006 02:20

I think that it is not worth taking from 65x13.
well, turn it in your hands before buying.

Bonart 10-10-2006 18:49

several times "tried on" the Kizlyar knives with this very "stiffener". I understood all its uselessness, because it cuts badly and cuts so-so, and I don't need to use a knife as a mounting tool. IMHO, "Siberian" is better.

RoUrkE 11-10-2006 05:07

Damn, why is this rib stopping you? I agree, it would be better if it weren't, then the knife should be cheaper, heavier and stronger. But it will not be better or worse to cut from this.
2 Freezer: if you have to rest your palm against the butt of the handle, the metal will crush painfully.
From podobnogo I recommend to touch the "Fox" in the elastron - a cross between "Kite" and "Siberian Crane"

Freezer 11-10-2006 09:20

Ok ... let's get some fun. It is necessary in the search to diligently rummage what kind of stalyuka this 65x13 is

Bonart 11-10-2006 11:40

Damn, why is this rib stopping you?

Tyson 11-10-2006 18:41

I have such a knife.
The pluses are impressive appearance, can be used as a scrap without fear of breaking, the grippy handle made of elastron, steel 65X13 - dulls quickly enough, but also quickly sharpens. For a working camping knife, IMHO, it is better than Kh12MF, tk. not so fragile and it's not a pity to use it.
Of the minuses, the inconvenience of the cut, as Bonart said.

So that others understand what it is about:

Cut, prick. True, I have an Alligator - it will be heavier. Yes, and the pk at 30 degrees is re-sharpened - maybe because of this it is easier.

Freezer 12-10-2006 03:15

"if you have to rest your palm against the butt of the handle, the metal will be painful to press"
Is it possible for those who are on the armored personnel carrier =) the edge is where the handle of the knife ends, and there the shank is not completely filled with rubber?

RoUrkE 12-10-2006 03:55

Yeah. Even in the photo, the sharp edges are visible. You can, of course, round them off on emery yourself ... However, on the Siberian Crane, I generally grinded this "heel" down to rubber.

"rib" is one that protrudes along the blade.

Sharp edges of what? The handle is COMPLETELY molded from elastron.
Here is a description of the knife (though custom): http://knife.ru/Forum/read.php?f=1&i=133043&t=133043

Fet 12-10-2006 21:22

There, from the rear end of the handle, a metal plate sticks out for a couple of mm.

Fet 12-10-2006 21:57

Yes, I readily believe, it's just that it's not often necessary in everyday life. I left it on my Siberian Crane, let it be. There are many who like to rest the end of the handle in the palm of the hand when injecting (steaming something, for example) - this is how it interferes with them.

NAVAJO 12-10-2006 22:15

I have a Condor-2, a plastic scabbard, I'm quite satisfied, the handle is grippy, and the design is without any bells and whistles.

Tyson 12-10-2006 22:47

If I'm not mistaken, this is on the old model, but as in the photo - completely elastron

Freezer 13-10-2006 11:48

To Thank you all for the explanations .....

AlexChief 15-10-2006 05:02

Yeah, exactly, I got a corn on the first day - be healthy!
I have a custom made, from x12MF. Cost 2000 rubles with both types of scabbard. I took it as a test one - how does it feel to wander through swamp forests with a knife on your hip? Dragged almost without taking off for two weeks hunting, well, just like that. From the crash tests it was the following: I felled trees with a diameter of 7-10 centimeters twice, I caught ducks from the river (with an ax, anyway, it's more convenient; but where can I get it). I had to divide the beaver, it was a sin, so she cuts off the ribs from the ridge in one motion. I blew my head off the shoulder with three blows (and there the thickness of the spine is 3-4 centimeters, I was just dumbfounded, how easy it was). All kinds of chicken-duck-grouse legs-wings-heads generally cut with two fingers, practically without applying any effort, under the knife's own weight they flew off. In general, I used it as an ax all the way. And for this I recommend that you do two things at once: cut nafig these edges into emery - they interfere with real life. And hang a lanyard from the thickest rope which will fit through the hole. I myself intend to fit a Kevlar rope lanyard, it is sold in sailing shops, because mine has revealed signs of wear in such a short time.
As a summary, I can say that the knife did not disappoint me. For that kind of money, I fulfilled my function perfectly well: I am thinking about purchasing something heavier and more expensive (maybe Camilus is some kind of thread ...).
And one more thing: I never tried to cut anything with them :-). A persistent feeling that it was not invented for this (I have a custom-made metal-ceramic for these "delicate works" on my belt).

Modern knives with excellent technical characteristics and high durability are a real pleasure for every connoisseur of this type of cold weapon. A variety of models, differing in size, possibility and areas of application, as well as a price indicator sometimes complicates the selection process.

However, there is a model that combines the high quality of the metal from which the knife is made, the unique sharpness of the blade that does not deteriorate even with its active use, and many positive reviews from customers who have already made their choice: the Korshun Kizlyar knife has perfectly proven itself as reliable and maximally sharp modern knife for a wide range of applications.

A feature of the Korshun Kizlyar model can be considered its possibilities of use: being certified as a hunting knife, it can also be used as a device for solving various household tasks. For example, for cutting food, cutting wire, cutting paper and cardboard. Perfect for everyone who prefers an active lifestyle: strength, ergonomic shape of the handle and high strength characteristics allow it to be used in field conditions and for a better arrangement on hikes.

Having a classic elongated shape, reminiscent of a pike, the Korshun knife from the well-known manufacturer Kizlyar is conveniently located in the hand, and the presence of a part of the cross at the junction of the blade and the knife handle guarantees safety during its operation: even with a strong knife strike, the hand does not slip from the handle onto the blade. This is also facilitated by the presence of a rubberized gasket attached to the plane of the handle along the entire length.

This video will tell you about the Korshun-2 knife from Kizlyar:

Advantages and disadvantages

The most important indicators of any knife are its specifications... And first of all, it is its size, because the comfort of the process of use, the possibility of its transportation largely depends on them. Customers also appreciate the appearance, weight and length of the blade. Owner reviews help to get the most complete picture of the selected model.

The main advantages of the Kite model include the following qualities:

  • relatively low weight (only 35.2 g), due to the compact size and ergonomic shape of the knife;
  • excellent sharpening of the blade, which does not decrease even with active use of the knife;
  • the presence of a coating with an anti-reflective effect ensures the best performance of the model;
  • the long warranty period given by the manufacturer allows you not to doubt the qualities of the knife.

Due to its relatively low cost, the Kite model is in demand among buyers who may even have a limited purchase budget.

According to the majority of buyers, there were no shortcomings in the model in question. Some owners speak of an incomplete cross at the junction of the knife handle and its blade as a small flaw. However, even the existing part of the crosspiece protects the hand from possible injury to the palm, preventing the hand from sliding down the blade.

Purpose

  • The use of the Korshun model from the Kizlyar manufacturer is determined by its characteristics. High level of strength, high degree of reliability and unique sharpness of the blade allow the knife to be used for hunting purposes. In addition, the model was certified precisely as a hunting melee weapon, suitable for use even in the field.
  • Also, the Kite knife can be used to solve many household issues, in hiking trips. The presence of a scabbard in the basic configuration allows you to transport the model without fear of injury.

Varieties

The varieties include such knives as Phoenix and Condor from the same manufacturer ("Kizlyar"). All of them have an ergonomic shape of the handle, a sharpened blade with high performance strength and long-term sharpening. In terms of cost, they are also comparable and are in constant demand among buyers.

Specifications

The most important indicators for each model of modern utility knives should be considered their size, weight, length of the blade, the type of metal that was used in the manufacture of the knife, as well as design features and shape.

Having the most ergonomic shape, the Kite knife is comfortable for long-term use, the hand is most conveniently located on the handle. Security guarantee from the manufacturer - also important indicator quality of this model.

Completion and packaging

The basic kit for this model of a folding knife includes the knife itself, cardboard packaging, colorfully decorated, and instructions for using the knife. Also included is a scabbard made of quality plastic with an increased strength index, conveniently located on the belt or on the ankle.

The characteristics and features of the Korshun Kizlyar knife are discussed in this video:

How to use

The use of a Korshun brand folding knife from the Kizlyar manufacturer is simple, does not require any physical or special skills. The presence on the surface of the blade of two hollows for the fingers allows you to guarantee the most snug fit of the hand, does not allow slipping, which is important for the accuracy of each blow.

The knife is opened with a special latch on the handle, which is easily triggered even by a small impact. And the absence of a cross does not imply any danger during operation: a partial cross, located at the junction of the blade and the handle, protects the palm from likely hitting the knife blade.

The price of the Kizlyar Korshun knife is listed below.

Product prices

The cost of this model can be called quite democratic: most of the buyers and owners note that the purchase of a knife is available even to those who have a limited purchase budget.

The price of the Korshun Kizlyar knife may fluctuate, but its average values are from 1,620 to 1,910 rubles in the basic configuration. It is possible to purchase additional equipment, the price of which is about 200 rubles.

State Design Bureau "Yuzhnoye" named after M.K. Yangel (Ukraine) is ready to carry out development according to the requirements of potential customers of a new missile launcher and tactical ballistic missile. Previously, this design bureau was traditionally engaged only in the development of ICBMs and space launch vehicles. The state foreign trade enterprise "Ukrspetsexport" and the National Space Agency of Ukraine are already offering new rockets to potential customers. The cruise missile, named "Korshun", is designed for air, land and ship based. Designed to engage stationary targets on land and sea targets ...

In terms of dimensions, weight and general configuration, the CD has some similarities with the Kh-55 design bureau and the non-nuclear Kh-555. However, officials at the MKB "Raduga" said they were not involved in this project in Ukraine.

Ukraine was previously part of the USSR was involved in the X-55 program. The X-55 missile itself was developed at the Raduga Design Bureau. The first batches of missiles were built at the Dubna Machine-Building Plant (DMZ), but serial production was established at the Kharkov Aviation Plant (now - KSAPP) and went on in the period from 1980 to 1987. Perhaps in this regard, Ukraine has documentation for the X-55.

It is expected that the Korshun will be equipped with a combined control system that will combine inertial and GPS / GLONASS navigation. The anti-ship version of the missile will have a seeker for final guidance.

Stealth technology will be used to reduce radar signature.

Flight on the cruising section will be provided by a turbojet engine (not retractable) installed in the aft fuselage. As a turbojet engine can be used "Soyuzovsky" P95-300, which is produced by the Ukrainian company "Motor Sich" (for the X-55SM). The ground and sea version of the rocket must have a starting TT engine.

The warheads used can be different types: high-explosive fragmentation, penetrating and cluster. The launch is possible from a container from shipborne and ground launchers or from an aircraft suspension.

Characteristics of the KR "Korshun":

... length: 6.07 m,
... diameter: 0.5 m,
... wingspan: 3.1 m,
... weight with transport device and container - 1650 kg,
... rocket weight (with booster) - 1290 kg,
... rocket weight (without booster) - 1090 kg,

A new Ukrainian operational-tactical missile can be built as early as 2017.

About this analyst of the group "Information Resistance - South" Alexander Kovalenko (blogger"Angry Odessa") writes on his blog at Live Journal.

He stressed that the need for the Armed Forces to adopt new operational-tactical complexes has been discussed for a long time.

"The need is due not only to the factor of moral and technical aging of the Tochka-U systems in service, but also to their extremely low deterrent component in relation to their modern counterparts, in particular, the Iskander-M." year, the issue with the Ukrainian OTRK can move from the sphere of discussion and guesswork into the phase of full-fledged, official tests, "he writes.

“The fact is that the other day the press center of the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau reported on the work done for 2016, and also shared plans for the future. in particular, the Yuzhnoye design bureau emphasized that it is developing this complex and a high-precision ballistic missile to him exclusively for non-budgetary funds. In addition, the Yuzhnoye design bureau in its message admitted that work is underway for the Grom-2 OTRK and the Korshun-2 subsonic cruise missile, the blogger reports.

He also emphasized that the Yuzhnoye design bureau notes in a separate line: "All these developments can and should be adopted by the Ukrainian army."

"Of course, few people know what is actually happening within the walls of the Yuzhnoye design bureau, but given the subtext of the press release and the little information that is available, our complex may well break out already this year!" An angry citizen of Odessa ".
