Regulations on the Federal Bailiff Service
Federal bailiff service (FSSP of Russia) - a federal body exercising functions to ensure the established procedure for activities, execution, acts of other bodies and officials, as well as law enforcement functions and functions of control and supervision in the established area of activity. FSSP of Russia is subordinate.
The main tasks of the service
The main tasks of the FSSP of Russia are:
- ensuring the established order of activity, and;
- organization and implementation of compulsory execution of judicial acts of courts of general jurisdiction and arbitration courts, as well as acts of other bodies provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation on enforcement proceedings;
- management of territorial bodies of the FSSP of Russia;
- maintaining the state register of legal entities carrying out activities for the return of overdue debts as the main type of activity (),
- implementation of federal state control (supervision) over the activities of collectors.
Activities
- The FSSP of Russia in its activities is guided by federal constitutional laws, federal laws, acts of the President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation, international treaties of the Russian Federation, acts of the Ministry of Justice of Russia, as well as "".
- FSSP of Russia carries out its activities directly and (or) through the territorial bodies.
- The FSSP of Russia carries out its activities in cooperation with other federal executive bodies, executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, local self-government bodies, public associations and organizations.
Special ranks in the Federal Bailiff Service
Special titles established for positions in the enforcement bodies are assigned in accordance with Art. 8 of the Federal Law of 01.10.2019 No. 328-FZ "On Service in the Compulsory Enforcement Bodies of the Russian Federation and Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation."
Prior to this, employees of the FSSP of Russia wore insignia (shoulder straps), but had class ranks.

In May 2012, a project was submitted for consideration to create its own search division in the structure of the FSSP of Russia.
Special Forces
In 2005-2006, as part of the FSSP of Russia, specialized power units were created - regional and interdistrict departments for the organization of operational duty(which include a duty unit and one or more rapid response teams). The URB personnel undergo special training and are armed with automatic weapons.
Symbolism
The service has a flag and a heraldic emblem approved by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation.
