Description of equipment

A description of any equipment contains information on the cost of its production, the volume it occupies on the ship, as well as damage per second, if we are about arms. On the right side of the screen, the selected equipment and its functions are described in detail.

Basic modules

First of all, the question arises: what to do in case of an attack. After all, before, seeking to quickly develop the shapes, you hardly have the opportunity to pay a lot of attention to martial ships. In addition, technology (if you followed our advice and did not stumble) so quickly developed that weary and the means of protection were carried out directly before our eyes.

Now the time has come close to the construction of the space fleet. You entered the "Design" menu and stopped before the problem - what and how to build. By the way, pay attention to this difference from ~ Civilization ~ - there you had standard combat units, and here each spacecraft is your own small masterpiece (or big failure).

The first commandment is to try to make the ship as little as possible.
Inside the class - Small (small), medium (medium), Large (big) and Huge (huge) can fill it in what you want. This, by and large, little on what will affect.

But here is the movement between classes, first of all, in the direction of increasing, is a step over which it is worth thinking. Not to mention the fact that the Huge category ship can be built for 200 years or more, it will lead to a sharp increase in the duration of construction and its cost.

However, first, probably, it is worth it for more to show what it can be installed on your ship.

Computers. They guide the entire life of the ship. The more powerful computer installed on it, the more chances of success in battle, the faster movement near the enemy.

Experience shows: so that the ship does not remain defenseless, especially at the beginning of the game, forget about this type of weapon is not worth it. However, this type of weapons has a big minus, forcing it to relate to it with some caution: it requires a certain reserve of rockets. After all of them released, the starting unit turns out to be useless. Thus, putting a rocket weapon on the ship, think about what will happen to it after its use.

3. ~ Torpedo ~. Circles of energy that can be shooting through the round. Rechargers do not require, but cannot pass through the atmosphere, which makes them effective only against space purposes.

4. ~ shooting projectiles ~. For example, this is a neutron gun (Neutron Pellet Gun). Especially effectively against power fields, but requires recharging.

5. ~ biological ~. Extremely effectively against the population, can even worsen the living conditions on the planet as a whole. 7. ~ Bombs ~. Used only against terrestrial purposes. If the planet has a shield, often only bombs are capable of breaking it.

Special devices. As technology develops, some devices that can be equipped with a ship in addition to all of the listed. With some of them you will get acquainted at the very beginning of the game. First of all, it is a colony base (base for colonists), which must be installed on a ship intended for the adherence of a new planet. In the future, other species of the same device focused on special types of planets will be available: Dead, with increased radiation, etc.

Then, these are spare tanks with flammable. Gradually, you can, inventing new materials and technologies to make them more and more accomplished.

I want to hope that soon your scientists will open and excellent adaptations, indispensable in battle. This is a combat scanner, anti-missile defense, car repair machines, but you never know what else.

The path to the Union (which ultimately can bring you extra voices in the Council) is not covered with roses, but quite pass. Especially if you are not burdened by some particularly perverted reputation.

Note that all your requests for audiences and actions against each of the races, a computer, and therefore the emperor of a particular race, perfectly remember. Think about it before you bother stupid requests in the third time or break the contract.

Most likely, before all, you will be able to agree on trade.

Do not be surprised that your trading rating will initially be negative. Usually after 10-12 years of trade, the rating becomes positive.

The second stage of relationship is the exchange of technologies. Not always you will be offered what you need. Not always the proposed exchange may be equivalent. But note that in case of refusal of exchange (especially those initiated), the alien emperor can be offended, deciding that you will be forced the newest achievements of its technical thought.

The right way to the Union is an aggression imperfect agreement (Nonaggression PACT). It implies the peaceful coexistence of ships in the orbits of still unoccupied planets. 1. At the very beginning of the game, look at the common map. The likelihood is large enough that the world chosen is located on the edge of the galaxy. In this case, with the colonization of stars that you have "behind your back" can and wait, the main efforts to capture planets closest to the center, since it is in this direction that you have the greatest chance to meet with competitors.

However, it does not mean to "wait" at all. After all, even if you explored the star system, it is possible that someone else wants to establish a colony there, and you can't keep all the free stars to keep the battle fleet. In the middle of the game there will be time and painted planets, otherwise you will be able to get around with a rear and flanks.

2. Before stamping ships with colonists, it would be nice to find out to which stars they can fly. And do you need these stars. And is it possible to live on them. The situation is not excluded when for successful development of colonization, it takes almost immediately to lay ships with additional fuel tanks.
