In our temple from Georgia delivered icon. The governor of the monastery of Svetitskhoveli Archimandrite Seraphim sent us a large in size and a wonderful letter of the icon of St. John of the Zedazniy and twelve his disciples.

The inscriptions on the icon are Georgian, so we will list the names of those who are depicted on it - in the center of Rev. John. And in the stamp, if you look from left to right and move from top to bottom (as when reading a book): Stefan Hirsky, Isa, Bishop Tsilkansky, Aviv, Bishop Nekric, Joseph, Bishop Alaverd, Isidor Samtavi, Shio Maximsky, David Gareghai (with three stones! ), Mikhail Ulumby, Pierre Bretsky, Anthony Martkobsky, Zenon Ikalt, Faddia Stepanzmindsky.

Save, Lord, for such a gift!

For the first time, where the temple of the Trinity of the Library for Mud is now mentioned in the annals of history in the 16th century. Once there was a wooden church in honor of St. Vasily the Great. In the 17th century, they decided to put it with a stone, but in the middle of the 18th century, the bell tower, falling from the height, collapsed. This misfortune occurred because of the close neighborhood with the river with a raff, which aroused from the pond, which is now called the name.

The lag crossed the Pokrovskaya street. In the spring or after long rains, the river was poured and turned the entire district into the dirt. Therefore, this area received such a name.

Starost of church

In 1812, when Moscow burned, the church did not suffer, but by the mid-19th century the temple of the Trinity of the Liberal on the mud was not able to accommodate all the parishioners. Therefore, the elder of the Church, the benefactor and Evgraph Vladimirovich Molchanov, decided to rebuild her to his funds.

Evgranif Molchanov was a major entrepreneur, the owner of several textile and siestzenabilic factories in Moscow and Moscow region. All his life, Evgraph Vladimirovich helped poor, orphans, his workers.

And so for the implementation of his plan and build a temple, he refers to the famous architect and his friend M. D. Bykovsky.

The temple of the lifelong Trinity on the mud at the Pokrovsky gate will soon acquire a new appearance. From the western side of the Church, the architect decides to build a three-core bell tower, which will be completed to build in 1870. The facade of the temple is performed in a classic style,

In 1861, construction was completed. Metropolitan Moskovsky then there was a saint Philaret, who consecrated the trinities of the lifelong mud - this is an amazing structure, as many interesting stories are connected with it. It is there that the miraculous icon with a touching story is stored.

Even before restructuring the temple, one pious artist brought her from Italy and presented her relative, who was the abbot of the temple on the mud. After a while, after the death of the artist, the rector placed an icon on the pornet of the church.

After forty years, a miracle occurred associated with an icon. One woman was silent her husband and exiled to Siberia, the property was returned to the treasury. And the only son was in captivity. Poor woman day and night cried to the help of the Virgin. So one day, sorrowing and praying, she heard the voice pointing to her to find the icon "Holy Family" and pray in front of her. Fortunately, a woman finds an icon and prays with all zeal. After some time, the husband's husband is rehabilitated, the dwelling gives to the owners, and the son returns from the captivity.

The temple of the Trinity of the lifelong mud becomes the place of pilgrimage of believers, and the icon people give the name "three joy."

It is said that during the lifetime of David, the Hareghi Priests-Wizards, for a certain MZDU, a certain maiden would be disgraced to disgrace the public of the Christian preacher. The girl accused the saint in his pregnancy, then God's man, stretching his staff and touched by the belly of the girls, asked if he was a father's father. To which the voice "No" was heard from the womb. Georgian women are well known to this formidable story, so they ask for Holy Assistance in childbirth, changing Chad and so on.

The church is built using the techniques and samples of the Renaissance architecture. Rectangular in terms of 4-porcular temple with low-level corner cells and a portion column was completed by a monumental dome drum and a high multi-tiered bell tower over the western entrance.

In 1929, the temple was captured by representatives of the so-called "Grigorians" (forbid by the Temporary Highest Church Council - VVTSS) led by the peremitropolitan Boris (hand).

At the same time, the arches of the North Appeat were destroyed and completed the third floor. In the central attack, a film concert hall was arranged with a scene at the location of the altar.

In 1979, a crack appeared on the arch of the former temple. The house of culture was decided to close and overhaul. In 1980-1981, repair work was carried out and the foundation was undermined.

The name "On Mud" appeared at the Temple of the Trinity of the Library to the Pokrovsky gate of no accident. The fact is that through the courtyard of the shrine ran the stream of the stroke. For the altar of the church, he was already a whole stream, which formed dirt on the cover.

The same temple at different times was called differently. At first it was the church of St. Vasily Kesia, then Troitsky, later - "Three Jas".
