The increase was 9%, which is a very impressive figure. In terms of numbers, in 2018 there are 142 breakdowns per 100 cars. And in 2017 this figure was 156 malfunctions.

It is also interesting that the manufacturers of mid-range and budget-priced models are not as far behind in terms of reliability as the manufacturers of premium cars, as it was before. For comparison, on average, there are 143 breakdowns per 100 medium-sized auto brands, while in the premium segment the figure is 136 malfunctions per hundred vehicles. Summing up the results of 2018, the authoritative agency JD Power has named the top ten manufacturers who produce the most reliable cars at present.
