The 18-storey building will be filled with almost three hundred numbers, some of which will be intended for small citizens. In total, more than 500 students will live in the future of the hostel.
At the same time, an externally, the building does not stand out from the already existing buildings, while satisfying all modern standards of residential buildings.
According to the head of the project association, the Unicum of Olga Smolensk, the specificity of the RUDN, uniting students from all over the world, also imposed certain restrictions on the choice of materials and on the selection of architectural solutions. For example, the use of panoramic glazing was impossible. At the same time, the new building should not be contrasted with the existing complex RUDN, built in Soviet times.
First of all, it is worth mentioning the most famous facts about the university. 1. Many foreign students who are children of influential politicians. Yes, there are a lot of foreigners, but almost all of them are sent for some kind of inexplicable grants. In Russian, even for the fourth course, few people say well, at best in English. They also learn, as a rule, are not configured.
2. Good training in foreign languages. If this is free English learning, it is disgusting. Students on the groups split in chaotic order, can not be about knowledge and speeches. This is a pair for a tick. Speaking of a translator's diploma, it is worth saying that it is worth only to Spanish. There it will be possible to go to an internship in a foreign university, and knowledge gives good. The rest of the directions students are thrown on the second - the third year, because it looks more like payment of a piece of paper, not lessons.

On my department, education worked only by several teachers. We had a lecturer who did not bother to learn his subject, and for several months we only listened to each other's presentations.
Special article is the abolition of steam. Many do not care for the existence of a curriculum and obligations in the number of lectures. There was a teacher who in one semester simply canceled all seminars, because he did not want to spend them. Another teacher, we saw only a few times over a whole year, although it may be for the better, because he either didn't bother to teach your subject. But do not be surprised to reduce couples or cutting their durability - it's in order of things. Another problem is teachers who have not changed their programs with nineties, so listening to their lectures is quite strange. Teachers are often late for lectures, we often recognized about the cancellations after arriving at the university, can leave for thirty minutes during the class. But again it is worth saying that there were good teachers who love their work, but they are in the minority.
Practice takes place at least two times, on the third and fourth courses. Complece everyone there, but if you already have a job, then practice is going there. As a rule, these are places where employees are not required, but if you show yourself very well and stay there to work on a voluntary basis, then maybe someday you can make a job there.
Summing up, it is worth saying that with the exception of a pair of faculties, RUDN is not the place where it is worth going for high-quality and intensive learning. But if you need to combine work with your studies, or just do not like to learn and want to take part in all student initiatives, then this is a good choice.

The project for the construction of an eighteen-story dormitory for students of the Russian University of Friendship of Peoples (RUDN) was approved by the FU "Glavgosexpertiz of Russia" by the subsemorette of Russia. The Russian University of Friendship of Peoples was founded in 1960 and is a major international educational and scientific center, in the walls of which annually learn and are trained in postgraduate forms of training Citizens of more than 150 countries of the world.
The hostel building of the RUDN will be built on the territory of the existing student town. Architectural solutions provide for the creation of a modern recognizable image image, taking into account town-planning features of the built-in area. In the new hostel will be placed non-resident and foreign students, graduate students, doctoral students, interns and students of the RUDN Institute. According to the project discussed by the Glavgos Expertis of Russia, the number of rooms will be 275 rooms, which will be able to 550 inhabitants.
Rooms for students, living rooms with an entrance hall, bathroom and shower, will be equipped with all necessary for comfortable accommodation in furniture: beds, cabinets, desktops, chairs, wardrobes for clothing and shoes. The residential area will also highlighted the kitchen-niches equipped with double-circuit plates, refrigerators and sinks, workers and dining tables.
The project provides for the creation of a barrier-free environment for people with disabilities in a dormitory: Special rooms will be equipped with the first and second floors. Rooms intended for disabled people will be equipped with all necessary means for self-service, furniture is selected, taking into account the peculiarities of people living in them. Access to these numbers will be carried out through a special separate entrance to the building.
On the first floor there will also be lowered by medical complexes, cafeterias, administrative and auxiliary rooms, halls for classes and leisure activities.
The hostel will place nonresident and foreign students, graduate students, doctoral students, interns and audiences of the university.
In 275 rooms will be able to live 550 people. Residential rooms with hallway, bathroom and shower will equip the necessary furniture: beds, couches, desktops, chairs, wardrobes for clothes and shoes.
The residential area will allocate a niche kitchen with two-component plates, refrigerators and sinks, workers and dining tables.
For people with disabilities, equip the rooms on the first and second floors. They will be equipped with everything necessary for self-service, the furniture will pick up taking into account the peculiarities of small-friendly people. These rooms will be a separate entrance to the building.
On the first floor there will also be lowered by medical complexes, cafeterias, administrative and auxiliary rooms, halls for classes and leisure activities.
The hostel will be erected at the expense of the federal budget and extrabudgetary funds RUDN.
