Beyond's massive update for No Man's Sky gets a release date Hello Games studio has been preparing the largest free update for No Man's Sky called Beyond for several months. Today it became known when the novelty will reach users ...

Total War: Warhammer Is a tactical strategy developed by Creative Assembly. The game will use the well-known proprietary Total War gameplay, but focused on the Warhammer universe from Games Workshop.

Total War: Warhammer - 9th game in the Total War series and the first in the Total War: Warhammer trilogy. There are 2 more independent games and addons awaiting us in the future. This stunning trilogy promises to be the largest project in the Total War lineup.

The game combines huge real-time battles and addictive turn-based campaigns. Hundreds of hours of game that will not weaken your interest for a minute, where, as before, you need to lead a power, engage in diplomatic relations, and create your own Empire.

Development:

Back in 2012, Sega announced a partnership with Games Workshop to release several games for the Warhammer series. Sega has commissioned the TW series developer, Creative Assembly, to develop these products. The first game was planned for 2013, but at that time Creative Assembly were busy creating five projects, including Total War: Rome II.

At the moment, the official announcement of the game has taken place and all fans of the game were able to watch the announcement and gameplay trailer, which revealed some details of the plot and demonstrated weapons and various units.

And although the rules have changed, but, as before, war remains the only constant value!

Only a few weeks remain before the release of the long-awaited strategy, and the developers are giving us fresh information more and more generously every day. Let's sort everything out in order.

The first on our list is a gameplay video, where the developers captured a scene of a battle between a horde of evil orcs with a bunch of dirty goblins and the knights of the Bretonnia faction, which, by the way, is not playable. In this merciless battle, the Greenskin Brigade is naturally victorious. No, well, really, who can resist their expressive smiles, causing an irresistible desire to leave the battlefield while all the bones are intact?

Overall, the trailer is not very impressive. He can only be thanked for the demonstration of Bretonia's fighters and for showing combat mechanics, coupled with magic spells.

We will not be full of gameplay videos alone, so for dessert the developers have prepared for us a very cold dish, obtained from the dark depths of ancient graves, but nevertheless it tastes exquisite and pleasant, like the blood of a young maiden.

In the long-forgotten lands of Sylvania, SOMETHING lurked, exuding the stench of cemeteries and many graves, and now it woke up - a true evil, knowing no compassion and mercy. It was accumulating its strength, waiting in the wings, becoming more powerful every day. Now the time has come for them to go out into the light and plunge it into darkness. The name of this evil - vampires.

It would seem to throw garlic at the army of bloodsuckers and leave quietly with the peasants from a neighboring village on a fishing trip, taking with them two barrels of hop and Zinochka, a servant from the lord's palace. But not only do these undead not react to the garlic scent, they also bit a squad of guards, turning them into their servants.

Kill them, do not kill them - they still rise from their graves at the behest of the necromancer and after that they turn your army into the dead, which will later replenish the legions of zombies and skeletons of the army of evil. But even such immortal beings have their weaknesses. For example, they have no ranged units at all - only melee, only hardcore. So you can safely shoot them with arrows until they come to you at arm's length. And then, if your army is not able to look death in the eyes and not be horrified, you can run.

The developers have gathered to pamper us with more than one undead. Admirers of short men who work their whole lives in mines, extracting minerals with sweat and blood, will be delighted. After all, another playable faction was the race gnomes... But these are no longer those good-natured creatures who like to tell stories over a glass of beer. The war has hardened them, and now with great pleasure they poison their enemies with sharp blades.

The gnomes pursue only two goals: to regain control over the citadels in the Badlands, which belonged to them during the time of their great-grandfathers, and to deal with all the grievances recorded in the Book, where everyone who dared to stand in their way, clearly underestimating their power, is entered. Yes, they may not naturally make perfect jack-of-all-trades, but their engineering talents are beyond praise. The formidable artillery of the gnomes and the stone will not leave the location of the enemy units in place. And iron discipline and loyalty to their duty turns their army into a single indestructible monolith.

The threat comes not only from the ground and enemy loopholes, but also from the vastness of the blue sky. After all, somewhere there, behind the clouds, hideous creatures with wings from birth. They are waiting for the right moment to bring death down from heaven. So if you want to save your life and save your army from defeat, often peer into the heights, and then suddenly someone will fly from there.

The most powerful celestial cavalry belongs to the vampire faction. Their flying beasts can deservedly be given the title of kings of heaven. What are they worth wargeists - a kind of overgrown gargoyles, capable of putting a small group of enemy soldiers on the ground with a flap of their wings, or terrorists - winged creatures with teeth sharp as sharpened steel, restoring their strength at the expense of their victims. I think it's not worth talking about skeletal dragons, and so everyone understands that these are birds worth a whole army of elite fighters.

Players will have to shed blood in the name of their faction in the vastness of the Old World. This world is truly huge and beautiful. Wandering through its back streets, we can admire the specific beauty of the dead steppes, where we found our refuge for the war of the greenskins, breathe in the fresh mountain air in the gnome campaign, wander along the cobbled streets of the cities of Breton, go to the excavations in the ancient mausoleum, taking with us a barbecue bunch of garlic at the top of the volcano - in general, the whole world is at your feet. Go and conquer it!

At least a little interested in the game, right? But are you afraid that your iron comrade will not be able to launch this creation? Especially for you the system requirements of the game:

Well, will your mechanical friend pull this creation? Yes? This is just wonderful! To celebrate, you can also order a collector's edition, if, of course, you are completely imbued with the atmosphere of the game, and besides, they offer not a bad drinking horn.
  • Collectible artbook box in the form of a book of the High King;
  • Dwarven drinking horn on a stand;
  • Map of the game world on canvas;
  • Touchstone amulet;
  • Ring of Grievances;

  • Grieving that the game will be overwhelmed with paid DLC? We hasten to dissuade you of this. According to the developers, after a long time after the release, players will expect free add-ons that unlock new squads, heroes, lords and entire races. But this, rather, will be just a tablespoon of freebies in a barrel of paid content, which, for a certain amount, will open new chapters to the players in the story campaign on behalf of the new factions.

    Release Total War: WARHAMMER slated for May 24, 2016... And as the creative director of the project said, "This will be the best game in the series."

    So we are waiting, gentlemen.

    The specifics of PC gaming is such that before proceeding to the passage, you must first familiarize yourself with its system requirements and correlate with the existing configuration.

    To do this simple action, you do not need to know the exact technical characteristics of each model of processors, video cards, motherboards and other components of any personal computer. The usual comparison of the main lines of components will be enough.

    For example, if the minimum system requirements for a game include a processor of at least Intel Core i5, then you should not expect it to run on an i3. However, comparing processors from different manufacturers is more difficult, which is why developers often indicate names from two major companies - Intel and AMD (processors), Nvidia and AMD (video cards).

    The above are system requirements. It is worth noting that the division into minimum and recommended configurations is done for a reason. It is believed that meeting the minimum requirements is enough to get the game up and running from start to finish. However, to achieve the best performance, you usually need to lower the graphics settings.

    Studio Creative Assembly announced the system requirements for the strategy of Total War: Warhammer II, and also clarified what performance this or that hardware will provide.

    So, for the minimal configuration, the expected performance is 25-35 frames per second with "low" graphics quality and 1280x720 resolution on the campaign map in 1v1 battles and in 20v20 unit battles. The configuration itself is as follows:

    • operating system: Windows 7 (64-bit);
    • cPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 3 GHz;
    • RAM: 4 GB or 5 GB (for integrated video cards, for example, the Intel HD series);
    • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460, AMD Radeon HD 5770 or Intel HD 4000;
    • video memory: 1 GB;
    • : 60 GB.

    • operating system: Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 (64-bit);
    • cPU: Intel Core i5-4570 @ 3.2 GHz;
    • RAM: 8 GB;
    • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R9 270X;
    • video memory: 2 GB;
    • free hard disk space: 60 GB.

    Finally, if you want to play ultra settings at 1080p and 60 frames per second, you will have to get an Intel Core i7-4790K processor with a clock speed of 4 GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card with 8 GB of memory. In addition, the developers presented a table with detailed graphics settings. All parameters can be changed manually, including turning on maximum smoothing. The settings below are applied automatically when the corresponding menu item is selected.

    Although the game's engine is the same as the first part, the sequel is slightly different in technical terms. "Total War: Warhammer II has been further optimized to improve performance and therefore the game will be supported on significantly more systems." - stated the authors. They also specifically mentioned the use of the following technologies:

    • improved Screen Space Lighting Algorithm (SSAO);
    • a new volumetric fog system that makes the air thicker to create a three-dimensional light effect;
    • new sharpening filter;
    • improved handling of wet surfaces in relation to certain models and their features.

    Total War: Warhammer II is the second installment of a trilogy that will offer a combination of massive real-time battles with an exciting global turn-based strategy game dedicated to government, politics, and the creation and strengthening of your own empire. The PC release will take place on September 28 this year. You can pre-order on Steam for 1,799 rubles.
